SRC-7 Performance
With the move to the Stratix 2 User Logic chips, all parameters have been significantly improved. Drastically enhanced gate count, bandwidth, close memory volume, floating point performance, and floating point latency allow the SRC-7 to be put to work on problems that have been historically ill-suited to reconfigurable computing.
All of the bandwidths have been doubled, at minimum. In addition, the most critical bandwidths, on-board memory and main I/O, are increased several fold.
