Standard Third Party Software

All SRC products utilize standards-based software with a Linux operating system (OS) forming the base systems software. Compilers, debuggers and software management tools supported within Linux can be used on SRC systems and interfaced with SRC's Carte Programming Environment.

 

Some of the tools include:

• an Intel^® Fortran Compiler
• an Intel^® C++ Compiler
• a Xilinx^® Integrated Software Environment (ISE)

The Linux OS environment also allows access to a multitude of drivers and libraries that support peripheral storage and networking. For SRC's large cluster systems, cluster management software is included in the OS environment as is Portable Batch System (PBS) services.
